This short-term role(s) is procured for Internationally Trained Lawyers and National Committee on Accreditation Candidates (ITLNCAs) within the sector of legal clinics and/or not-for-profit legal service providers that support access to justice and legal services.
This process is designed for ITLNCAs looking to gain local legal experience whilst contributing with access to legal services. This year, the available short-term role will be completed in a not-for-profit legal service provider/legal clinic focused on Ontario’s human rights laws and procedure(s). The expected commitment from the host and the candidate is set for three months. This short-term role will be funded by the ITLNCA NetworkS Association. This role is remote but please note the requirements below.
Interested ITLNCAs must follow the instructions below and submit their application package by 5:00 p.m. (EST) on August 10, 2024.
Here are the requirements:
· Your application package must be submitted via email in Word or .Pdf before the deadline.

· To apply you must be authorized to work in Canada.
Your application package must include:
1. Cover letter
2. Resume (Max. 2 pages)
The committee appointed to review the applications will consider the following:
a. Your professional and academic experience in law.
b. Any volunteer roles you have completed in Canada.
c. Your stage in the certification process. If you reached the licensing/articling/LPP placement/abridgment stage, this opportunity is not for you.
